Who will I see at the centre?
A range of health professionals, including nurses, doctors, social workers and administrative staff work at the Pregnancy Advisory Centre. Medical practitioners and health workers also train at the Centre to learn about the provision of abortion services.
When you visit the Centre for an abortion, you will see a health worker and a doctor prior to the operation. Nurses are responsible for your post-operative care.
If requested, arrangements can be made to see a counsellor.
